AnalytX has released it's second-generation data warehouse for the ObjectiveAssets family of products - ObjectiveWarehouse(tm). The data warehouse tremendously simplifies reporting by consolidating all information into ten detailed views that can be queried from Excel or any SQL-based report writer. The data warehouse was created by working closely with one of AnalytX's top clients - the superlative team at UBS Global Real Estate.
Elaborating on the benefits of the warehouse, Ivana Vrbic, the software engineer responsible for ObjectiveWarehouse states; "The great thing about the data warehouse is that the structures are configured to the user’s preferences. Contact attribute names and transaction component names are easily understood by users, because they defined them. They can take ownership and query the data warehouse immediately." In essence, the data warehouse processes information into simplified structures including contact, deal, fundraising, transaction, and investor-snapshot information that can easily be queried by users.
Among the benefits of the data warehouse, besides its simple elegance, is that various tools, such as Excel, MS Access, Crystal Reports, and Microsoft Reporting Services, can be utilized to query the structures. Quote from a beta test client; "I feel that we have come full circle. We migrated from using Excel, eliminating redundancy from data in multiple excel sheets, and standardized our reporting, which was excellent. Now we can export to Excel on demand so that we can perform custom analysis for our upcoming partner meeting AND I don't need to contact our vendor to pull this off!"
