04/29/09Enhanced Waterfall Rule Engine
The next generation of the waterfall rules engine processor has just been released for inclusion into the OA framework including PEO. The new engine offers easy to use expressions, a significantly faster expression parser, and a larger repertoire of pre-assembled rule logic components. An improved graphical user interface is also included to access the rule logic for balances and actions based upon calculated balances.
“The most important element of modeling waterfalls in private equity…” per Matt McCormack, Director of Software Development, “is that we built an engine which is highly extensible – virtually without limitation to model any waterfall. And also essential, one that isn’t a nefarious ‘black-box'. Our model is powerful, extensible, and the rules document their actions as they process."
